In order to make Coastside Inn your first choice on the coast we want to ensure that we have taken the steps necessary to be certified as a Green business. We strive to reduce our Carbon footprint and preserve our beautiful coastline.

Participation in conserving for tomorrow in-room program (voluntary guest conservation program)
Provide a recycle container in every guest room making recycling convenient for our guests
Low mercury energy efficient lighting in all guest rooms
Installed new energy efficient PTAC units with energy management sensors
Use bio-degradable bag liners in all guest room trash and recycle bins

HOUSEKEEPING/ LAUNDRY & MAINTENANCE
Use certified green cleaning products
All used batteries and incandescent and fluorescent bulbs taken to licensed site for disposal

Recycle all glass, aluminum, plastic and paper taken from guest rooms

Energy miser sensors on all vending machines
Use of outdoor energy efficient lighting as well as time specific sensors

Full usage of bio-degradable "Cornware" products (forks, spoons and knives)
